The Reliability Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of machinery and equipment at our Ballarat Potato Plant.
We are looking for an experienced leader who can manage, coach and engage both mechanical and electrical maintenance teams effectively, while also collaborating with other leaders to deliver a robust preventive maintenance program driven through the MDI framework.
About The Role Play a crucial factory role leading the Mc Cain Driving Impact (MDI) Strategy as the Maintenance Lead and use the framework to improve equipment reliability and deliver factory KPI's.
Manage mechanical and electrical teams in accordance with Mc Cain Foods policies and procedures, including scheduling and training.
Liaise with all factory departments to coordinate maintenance activities for the Mechanical and Electrical teams.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, services, equipment manuals, and inventory using SAP.
Manage the repair of breakdowns, and lead Root Cause Analysis.
Engage in new installations and upgrades with the Engineering department.
Manage contractors on site in accordance with Mc Cain Foods policies and procedures.
About You Bachelor of engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related area.
5+ years' experience working in a FMCG company 2+ years of direct people leadership experience (desirable) Contractor and High Risk Work management Confident in working with others at all levels High level of computer literacy and ability to analyse data.
Lean manufacturing experience in TPM, 6 Sigma, MDI.
