About the role This position is for a highly organised individual with a higher degree and research experience to work within the Research Directorate on delivery of the Research Strategic Plan (RSP).
The Research Development Officer (RDO) will: Provide support to the Clinical Director of Research and the Co-Director of Research, including project management of RSP-related initiatives.
Coordinate events related to RSP delivery, including the BH Research Symposium and the Grand Round and Research series.
Coordinate and provide secretariat support to the Research Executive Subcommittee, Research Advisory Committee, and Directorate Performance Management meetings.
Provide administrative support to the Clinical Director of Research and the Co-Director of Research on coordination of meetings, diaries, human resources, budget management, travel arrangements, and related tasks.
Assist in the coordination, assembly, and submission of NHMRC/MRFF and other large-scale funding applications and reports supporting RSP delivery.
Provide support to the Clinical and Co-Director on HREC submissions, reports, and scientific manuscripts, management of research students.
Promote adherence to best practice benchmarks and efficient and effective delivery of high-quality research.
