The opportunity As Uni Super reaches an important point in our growth journey your role is a crucial enabler, partnering closely with the leadership team your assigned area and interfacing with other business areas to enable strong risk management in decision making and position the fund to take opportunities in support of its Strategic Business Plan.
This role is accountable for creating a risk aware culture amongst an assigned area of the organisation through embedded first-line risk management.
Your work enables informed decisions on risks and controls related to Uni Super's fund administration Drive the Risk Management capability amongst our Delivery and Information teams, building strong awareness of risks, controls, and decision-making techniques.
Conduct risk assessments supporting your area's leadership team to make critical business decisions and ensure a timely response to emerging incidents.
Create and manage the Delivery & Information risk profile in alignment with Enterprise Risk Frameworks.
Coordinate and facilitate Audit activities aligned with Uni Super Assurance Map.
This includes managing and responding to audit findings.
Track the relevant risk and compliance policy changes impacting your area and deliver initiatives that coordinate with those changes.
Oversee compliance management activities, ensuring obligations managed by the assigned area are controlled appropriately.
Facilitate regular measurement and monitoring of the D&I risks through management insights provided into Business Unit leadership.
About you We are looking for an individual who has worked in fast moving transformation environment and is comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity.
Experience in working with technology or in a technology field is preferred.
Strong risk management and/or audit experience (relevant accreditations preferred); with significant demonstrable professional experience, ideally in superannuation, financial services or financial advice.
Knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework governing the superannuation, funds management, financial advice, or financial services industry Experience in coordinating and facilitating Audit activities is preferred.
Experience working with technology or in a technology field is preferred.
