The team The Chief Risk Office (CRO) manages ASIC's risk management framework and stress testing the effectiveness of risk management systems and controls.
It also includes ASIC's protective security, including the protection of information, people, and physical assets.
The Enterprise Risk and Resilience team within the CRO provides critical oversight and analysis of the risk framework across the organisation.
Its function is embedding and enhancing the risk operating model and enterprise risk framework; monitoring and testing assigned business units against risk framework requirements and advising business unit management on good risk practice.
The role As a Risk Partner, you will be required to: Operationalise, monitor, and continually improve ASIC's risk operating model and enterprise risk framework.
Provide appropriate guidance and challenge to assigned business units on good risk practice and framework requirements.
Participate in Business Plan and Strategic analysis.
Facilitate risk workshops.
Facilitate the review and assessment of controls.
Provide the CRO team, committees, and stakeholders with risk insights.
Oversight of business unit risk profiles, shared risks, and enterprise risks.
Oversight of risk maturity for assigned business units.
Conduct risk reviews as directed.
Business unit risk reporting and communication at CRO level, including KRI reporting.
Provide input into ongoing development of CRO team artefacts, including training material and digital risk solutions.
Provide risk coaching and training as required.
Oversight of key project risks, incorporating a Project Risk and Delivery Risk focus.
Contribute to Commission and Executive level papers.
About you Demonstrated advanced experience in a first or second line risk management/risk consulting role in a government agency or regulated entity.
Demonstrated understanding and ability to navigate, modify and improve enterprise risk frameworks and supporting frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders to enhance risk capability within the organisation.
Demonstrated ability to analyse risk issues and incidents and produce reports.
Demonstrated ability to analyse and recommend appropriate changes to internal and external policies.
