We have an opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join our Residential Sales Team in Victoria.
With Stockland's ongoing success and growth, we require a Sales Manager to continue to develop and maintain a high performance team to drive project(s) and regional portfolio results.
About the role Responsible for a regional portfolio, the Sales Manager is a key management role focused on meeting sales and settlement targets of development communities.
Splitting your time onsite and at our Melbourne Head Office, the role reports to the State Sales Manager and has three main components, those being: Project Leadership and Strategic Planning Marketing and Promotions Management Your key responsibilities include: Contribute to the development and implementation of sales targets, pricing, sales strategies and timelines across trading and launch communities Provide thought leadership on strategic issues, and contribute to the integration of project disciplines (i.e.
development, marketing, design and customer service) in a manner that maximises project outcomes Ensure sales risks are mitigated through diversification and ongoing forecast management for each project based on pipeline, marketing offering and competitor activity Achieve sales and settlements volume targets in accordance with approved budgets per project(s), including agreed investor/owner/builder ratio of sales Position sales activities, systems and processes to maximise enquiry conversion and minimise cancellations of deposits per project(s) Drive discipline and consistency in processes and practices, regularly reviewing performance and customer experience to achieve sales, settlement and profit outcomes Set pricing and product release strategies to maximise sales potential and manage the team to deliver Effective ITB Management practices mitigate risk and support delivery of settlement outcomes Build, nurture and retain a high performance and diverse sales team in accordance with Stockland Sales capability framework Create a diverse, inclusive and supportive environment where people excel Maintain Stockland's leadership position and reputation Ensure positive engagement and solid relationships with key builder partners to achieve required State business outcomes Collaborate with regional, State and National teams to share information, knowledge and best practice Network with key competitors to gain a broad understanding of the competitor offerings and developments About you Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Property Management, Business, Marketing or equivalent are highly desirable (however, not mandatory) Industry experience is necessary and knowledge of legislative requirements, processes, statutory and regulatory frameworks relating to all aspects of manufactured/residential homes will be highly regarded Effective management and experience with using CRM; Salesforce highly desirable Possess a high level of financial and commercial business acumen Demonstrated application of sales and marketing techniques and frameworks Extensive sales team management and coaching experience and the ability to manage and lead a high performance and outcomes orientated team of sales professionals Proven track record of achieving results through influencing, communication and relationship skills The Stockland Proposition We offer competitive remuneration and benefits.
