The role Aquarium Industries are seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager who has a proven track record with a focus on strong customer relationships.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role is a hands-on, lead-from-the-front role that will require you to roll up your sleeves and work directly with our key customers while supporting the team with their day-to-day tasks.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve both their individual and team goals.
Maintain and build on existing customer relationships to ensure a strong aquatics category for all to enjoy.
Identify customer needs and opportunities to help them meet their sales targets and growth opportunities.
Facilitate our customers' growth by identifying their opportunities and ensuring we meet their requirements.
Implement sales strategies to meet and/or exceed company set targets by maximising customer acquisition, retention and loyalty.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and develop strategies to help meet and maximise those opportunities.
Report on sales performance, customer engagement, retention, and acquisition, while providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Review and enhance the marketing strategy including optimising customer contact via newsletters, brochures, website capabilities, social media content, and digital advertising campaigns.
Oversee the company's online presence, including SEO, SEM, and social media platforms as the market leader, to attract more people into fish keeping.
Lead, mentor and coach team members to build their capability and to provide customer solutions that align with the goals of the department and the organisation.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture that emphasises accountability and continuous improvement.
Contribute to company strategy and special projects as a key member of the senior management team.
