About Austin Pathology Austin Health Pathology is a department of Austin Health and provides services to not only Austin Health and the co-located Mercy Hospital for Women, but also to numerous GPs and Specialists in the metropolitan and regional community.
Austin Health Pathology is currently expanding into the Hume, Loddon Mallee and Goulburn Valley areas of regional Victoria, with laboratories in Shepparton, Mildura, Echuca and Swan Hill, and a point-of-care network.
About the Shepparton Laboratory Austin Health Pathology Shepparton is a core laboratory offering services of Biochemistry, Blood Transfusion, Haematology and Microbiology services.
The Shepparton Laboratory operates 24/7 supporting GV Health hospital, as well as providing services to surrounding hospitals, GPs, and specialists from across the region.
About the role The Shepparton Laboratory is seeking an enthusiastic scientist to join our team.
A regular day will see you: Operate and maintain laboratory equipment as per laboratory procedures Maintain training and competency levels in accordance with documented laboratory methods, procedures and policies Maintain relevant scientific and technological knowledge and skills Participate in shift and on-call roster About you You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care.
