We're hiring a Scientist, Serology to join our team in Melbourne.
You will deliver animal studies for serological analysis for Seqirus' SARS-Co V2 and influenza vaccine platforms.
You will provide scientific and technical expertise for the Surveillance and Vaccine Development group to support innovation and delivery of BPD/SVVD objectives, engagement with stakeholders at a local level, and to support departmental compliance.
Additional responsibilities include driving staff development including the provision of scientific and technical guidance, and training less experienced scientists as required.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Serology you will: Undertake animal studies to support surveillance program, SARS-Co V2 preclinical studies, and other group studies as required.
Support generation of SARS-Co V2 and influenza serology data to support surveillance programs.
Generate serology data to support SARS-Co V2 pre-clinical data package.
Support tech transfer of analytics and processes from WAL and Arcturus as required.
Provide scientific and technical guidance for Surveillance and Vaccine Development group activities.
Your Experience: Degree and experience in relevant discipline, post-graduate degree preferred 3+ years' experience in relevant field/industry Requires conceptual and practical expertise in immunology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, cell culture, analytical assay development or process development Experience in virology and immunoassays preferred Experience working with small animal models required Understanding of the timing requirements for delivering seasonal and pandemic influenza, and SARS-Co V2 vaccines If you are looking to join a purpose-driven, values-based organisation committed to protecting public health, apply now!Applications Close on 13 October 2024 #J-18808-Ljbffr
