Reporting to the Manager, Research you'll have a strong focus on translating data analysis and research findings into evidence-informed resources and advice to drive policy, practice and communications impact.

About the role Lead and support initiatives to build knowledge and inform policy and practice in primary prevention of family violence, violence against women and other forms of gender-based violence.
Focus on translating research findings and data analysis into evidence-informed resources and advice to drive policy, practice and communications impact.
Support RV's strategic positioning as a thought leader in Victoria and nationally by understanding stakeholder priorities and communicating complex ideas to different audiences.
Key Accountabilities Lead, author and support the design of projects, activities, reports, briefs, resources and presentations to communicate, share and support knowledge building about the prevention of family violence, violence against women and other forms of gender-based violence.
Monitor and review academic and practice literature findings, in-house, commissioned or partnered research and data analysis, applied research and demographic surveys.
Translate findings for application to primary prevention policy and practice.
Support development and implementation of research governance protocols.
Provide specialist technical advice about research findings and data analysis.
