Opportunity snapshot: An exciting, Permanent opportunity has become available for a Senior Business Intelligence Data Operations Analyst.
Reporting to the Business Intelligence Operations, Governance & Quality Manager, Health Insurance, we are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence professional to support our Capability Modernisation transformation program.
We are seeking an individual who can utilise an existing set of reports and analytical tools to support business cases which aim to help us move away from legacy systems and tools to improve customer experiences.
Lead data analytics and advanced analytics within Capability Modernisation to continuously improve how we manage, report on, and use data to drive performance.
Contribute to, guide, and deliver key data reports, extracts, and process improvements to ensure that the Capability Modernisation can respond quickly to changing market demands.
Coach and mentor junior members of the team through best practice and challenging situations.
Support the BI Operations, Governance & Quality Manager, using advanced capabilities to establish a best-in-class level of data quality and reporting tools.
This is a hands-on role but also requires the ability to strategically plan and lead deliveries.
As an experienced BI professional, you will be able to understand, transform and deliver results in an ever changing and complex environment.
You will thrive in this role if you have strong attention to detail and are able to work with complex datasets and models in the context of addressing business needs.
What will I be doing? Delivery of stakeholder Data & Analytics requirements and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships within the Health Insurance business.
Implementation of data solutions that meet the stakeholder expectations and align with the Capability Modernisation Strategy.
Quantifying Net Promoter Score (NPS) survey results to provide the Leadership Team with the ability to make data led decisions.
Support the BI Ops, Governance & Quality Manager to develop and maintain a roadmap of analytical work.
Attention to detail and documentation of outputs to ensure best-in-class data.
Requirements for the role: Experience in SAS, SSIS, Power BI and Synapse suite necessary.
Highly experienced in data analytics, data quality, data warehousing and reporting.
Strong business acumen with strong written and verbal communication skills & ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to present to large groups, conveying technical concepts.
Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
5+ years technical knowledge and skills across the Microsoft Data Platforms & Data Analytics.
2+ years of experience using Microsoft Power BI (including DAX coding).
5+ years of hands-on experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data for reporting and insights.
Expertise in analysing data sets, quantitative analysis, data mining, predictive modelling and creating data visualisations.
