The Opportunity L3 Harris is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our Melbourne office to assist in management of contracts for the Enterprise Network Modernisation Program (ENMP).
In this role, the successful candidate will contribute to the end-to-end assistance of managing a major contract associated as part of Commercial Team.

What the role will involve: Working independently with minimal supervision Lead and serve as the main point of contact in the preparation/execution of RFI / RFP/ RFQs Non-Disclosure Agreements Subcontract modifications Information transferred to suppliers via the secure website Supplier Vetting Requests Supplier Quality approvals Analyze and ensure compliance to prime contract and program's contractual, legal, technical, and quality requirements.
Process invoices for Commercial and Government subcontracts and resolves associated problems with receipts and/or invoicing.
Ensure files are maintained in compliance with L3 Harris Policies and government requirements including creation, management, and archiving of contract and subcontract files/required documentation.
Work in collaboration with the Delivery team to develop action plans to address problematic trends and escalates large issues with functionally approved action plans.
Contribute to the wider program team in achieving outcomes and ensuring all commitments are met.
Assistance with management of all contractual processes and reporting, both internal and external while maintaining pertinent records.
Implement Supply Chain strategies to effectively align with the program execution, structure, and manage deliveries to milestones outlined in SOW and Program Management requirements.
Proactive management of high volume of change.
Ensure timely responses to change requests, hold subcontractors accountable to meet tight deadlines at times, evaluate change information, consolidate information into concise and effective contractual documentation, commercially negotiate contractual clauses and pricing, and understand the flow-downs between the head agreement and the subcontracts.
Support internal and external audits.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
Total years 5 related experience to be one or a combination of the following: Supply Chain, Subcontracts, Contracts, Procurement, Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Compliance, Legal and Government compliance, and/or Finance.
Coursework or practical experience that demonstrates business acumen, compliance, legal, negotiations skills, analytical mindset, strategy development and execution.
Minimum 5 years experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, WORD, Excel, Power Point, etc.) Minimum of 3 years experience in negotiations, contract or sub-contract performance/risk management.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Supply Chain, Contract Management, Finance, Commerce, Law, etc.) from a recognized institution, and/or equivalent relevant commercial experience.
Preferred Additional Skills: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Possess excellent communication skills, quality commitment, customer focus, strong interpersonal skills and be adaptable.
Experience managing contracts or sub-contracts that include telecommunications services, software development, IT Equipment/Solution providers, complex services, and lease/financing agreement subcontracts.
Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools and People Soft financial systems.
Advanced understanding of stage program requirements to effectively align with the program execution, structure, and manage deliveries to milestones aligned with Program requirements.
Advanced ability to coordinate cross-functionally with Program Management and Contracts to determine the appropriate means of acquisition and develop strategic acquisition solutions spanning from capture to execution.
Advanced knowledge and experience with various contract types (i.e., FFP, Cost Reimbursement, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, Time & Material, Labor Hour).
A problem solver – capable of making decisions to resolve issues.
