What you'll be doing Be the knowledge behind the action! Help drive productive decision-making through the proactive analysis of One Digital's datasets.
Key duties and deliverables: Identify the key actionable insights through the analysis of data and translate this into clear business relevant recommendations.
Apply appropriate leading practice analytical methods and techniques in an agile, pragmatic way that reflects the needs, constraints and KPIs of the business (e.g., time, cost, quality, data availability).
Create business enthusiasm and demand for the use of analytics through the effective communication and translation of analytical techniques into commercial concepts that can be easily communicated to and understood by business end users.
Showcase, benchmark and quantify the value and outcomes of analytics-based decision making.
Contribute to One Data's ability to delivery strategic and timely analytics.
Collaborate with stakeholders in Analytics, Digital / Ecommerce, Marketing, Commercial and IT streams to deliver data driven insights to key business problems.
Serve as a trusted advisor by cultivating relationships with stakeholders to improve their understanding and knowledge of analytical techniques and outcomes.
Effective Communication with key stakeholders around the delivery of key projects Design and implement analytics solutions.
Develop processes that streamline the integration of analytical resources into divisional implementations.
Operational Support - Support existing solutions as required.
What you will need Data and analytics professional with a proven track record (5+ years) in the development and business use of analytics technology and working with large & complex data sets Track record in designing and delivering actionable, data driven and/or analytics solutions.
Commercial acumen and ability to engage and influence business users in the opportunity and benefit from data driven decisions.
Ability to clearly present findings to a variety of stakeholder groups A real and demonstrable interest in analytics and its application in a business context Proficiency in SQL and/or other analytics languages Experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills.
Business and commercial acumen Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Econometrics, Accounting, Applied Statistics, Engineering, Marketing, or another numerate field.
Nice to haves Proficiency in DAX and Power Query Retail Industry experience will be highly regarded.
