With exciting projects currently underway, you will be a key contributor to unique business development and change across BOQ Group.
As a Senior Data Architect, you will join a high performing team to make strategic information and data architecture decisions for BOQ Group data platforms.
Sitting under the Chief Data Office function, you will provide a range of services to all internal business units including data strategy, architecture, data analytics, business intelligence, data science and data.
Further to building and managing relationships with key stakeholders, you will design fit for purpose data solutions that enables our business and delights our customers, also developing, publishing and maintaining current, interim and target state architecture aligned to execution roadmaps and data strategy.
You will also define technical directions and roadmaps for cloud migrations, managing implementation and technical solutions and further championing architect cloud native, hybrid or multi-cloud solutions to meet business needs.
This is a challenging and exciting role with a wide range of data architecture opportunities and a variety of data sources contributing to our data platforms.
BOQ Group has invested heavily in the latest cutting-edge data architecture capabilities to support the business' rapidly evolving demand, where this role leverages many of these new resources.
As an experienced data architect, you will thrive on working in a fast paced and continuously growing environment.
With an innate passion for data architecture, you will have sound working knowledge of existing, new and emerging data trends including their associated benefits.
To be successful in this role, you will also have experience in cloud-based data platforms and implementations.
You will further have strong technical competency across all phases of the SDLC using either Agile or Waterfall methodologies supported by a strong appreciation for strategy, organisation capabilities and enabling technologies.
