About the Role: We're on the hunt for a Senior Engineering Manager to take the reins on a high-profile digital platform project.
You'll lead the technical development and support for a complex website, mobile app, and backend systems, ensuring stability and top-notch performance.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: Inspire, mentor, and guide a talented team of software engineers and QA testers, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Technical Oversight: Provide architectural guidance and oversee development efforts, integrating front-end and back-end systems smoothly.
Vendor & Incident Management: Manage external vendors and swiftly handle incidents to keep operations running smoothly.
Platform Rebuild: Spearhead the complete rebuild of the platform, driving technical initiatives and ensuring a seamless transition.
Dynamic Environment: Navigate a high-traffic, high-pressure environment with resilience and poise.
Tech Stack: Backend: AWS, Microservices, Lambda, API Gateway Frontend: React Native (Mobile), Vue JS (Web) Content Management: Drupal (current), with plans to transition to AEM Ideal Candidate: Proven hands-on Engineering Manager track record managing high-traffic digital platforms.
Strong engineering background with expertise in identifying bottlenecks and managing complex projects.
Proficient in AWS and Dev Ops practices.
Excellent skills in incident management and vendor coordination.
Interview Process: 2-3 rounds, including discussions with senior management, HR, and product managers.
