Key Responsibilities: Project Management of projects including field investigations, data management and technical reporting for contaminated site assessments.
Project Management includes from proposal stage to final reporting.
Providing field and office based technical input on environmental assessment and contamination remediation projects.
Interpretation and analysis of laboratory and field data, preparation and review of factual and detailed technical reports.
Field investigations including groundwater monitoring, drilling supervision, soil sampling, test pits, waste soil classification, on-site management of safety and contractors, logging and observations of site works and conditions.
Contribute to technical discussions.
Performing Environmental analysis and assessment.
Peer review and preparation of technical reports and proposals.
Provide guidance to junior staff on field samples and field logging of exploratory test bores.
Communicate directly with clients and provide technical feedback and advice.
Use exceptional time management skills to manage multiple assignments at any given time.
Manage customer relationships for small projects, or a small part of a larger project.
Work in a safe, efficient, and detail-oriented manner.
Train and support junior staff (as required).
Essential Qualifications and Experience: Degree qualified in Environmental Science/Engineering, Earth Science, Geology or equivalent.
6+ years' experience in Environmental investigation and reporting.
In depth knowledge and application of EPA Environmental legislation, Guidelines and NEPM.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Work rights in Australia.
Valid Australian driving licence.
