Job Description What is the Role? We are looking for an established Estimator, to join a Tier 3 Commercial Construction team, with a strong commitment to high quality and client satisfaction.
In this role, you will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the business, building relationships with clients and mentoring more junior Estimators.

Key Responsibilities: Preparing Detailed Cost Estimates: Accurately estimate costs for residential and commercial projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
Tender Preparation: Develop and submit competitive tenders, ensuring all aspects of the project are comprehensively covered.
Subcontractor & Supplier Management: Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best rates and terms.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and work closely with the project management team to ensure financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
Client Liaison: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide cost-effective solutions, and maintain strong relationships.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and incorporate these into your estimates and tenders.
Qualifications & Experience: Experience in a role where you have led Estimating for Commercial Construction projects.
5 or more years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on residential and/or small-to-medium commercial projects.
Proven ability to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and pricing.
Excellent negotiation skills with a network of reliable subcontractors and suppliers.
Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
