About the role Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving financial success in the energy sector? We're seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to lead our Wholesale Electricity and Financial Instruments team.
In this pivotal role, you'll partner with Trading, Origination, and Portfolio leaders to provide critical financial insight, manage budgets, and drive performance.
Your expertise will shape financial strategy, support commercial projects, and foster continuous process improvement.
What you'll be doing Lead and mentor a talented team of finance professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and development.
Provide business partnering to senior leadership, offering insights to influence strategic decisions.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes, ensuring accurate reporting and performance tracking.
Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and valuation models.
Support commercial project evaluations and deliver actionable financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, external reporting, and audits.
About you What you'll bring to the table Proven expertise in managing month-end close processes, budgeting, and forecasting.
Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office tools, including understanding of financial modelling.
Skilled in analysing complex data, with a strong ability to connect business drivers to financial outcomes.
A proactive collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and continuously seeks improvements.
Experience and exposure to electricity portfolio and financial instruments will be highly regarded.
CA/CPA qualified.
