The opportunity: We are on the lookout for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic Finance & Compliance team based at our Support Office, in the heart of Richmond/Cremorne (café central).
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role is responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in carrying out financial accounting responsibilities, compliance and providing accurate, timely analysis of a selected number of Brands within the Brand Collective portfolio.
You will also provide assistance with analytical reports with variances to Budget and forecast, as well as identify areas of process and efficiency within all areas of the senior financial accountant's responsibility.
Key Responsibilities: Preparation of calculations and processing of month-end journals Prepare and/or review all tax compliance requirements (BAS and FBT) Provide detailed analytical reports, models, scenarios and financial support to key stakeholders Key involvement in the annual budget preparation and providing assistance with monthly reforecast process Providing accurate and reliable data through our ERP (AP21), BI tools (Jedox) and other reporting tools Prepare and/or review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of the general ledger Assist in identifying areas of process and efficiency improvement within the Finance team.
