Working closely with the construction team recommending appropriate safety controls and leading incident prevention and occupational health to management and employees.
Key Accountabilities: Responsible for Implementing the Occupational Health and Safety strategies, systems and initiatives across the project/package.
Monitors and reports on project health and safety performance, including completing inspections and observations.
Ensure the compliance of Safety Management Systems, including maintaining a robust risk management process at site.
Report works health and safety hazards, incidents, and injuries, including leading investigation.
Identify, review, and analyse high risk activities in conjunction with the appropriate personnel and recommends approach to be taken.
Actively ensure that subcontractors and suppliers are complying with legislative requirements.

Required Skills and Competencies Certificate IV in Health and Safety.
Ideally a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a similar role (Construction or Rail).
Demonstrated extensive experience in safety and compliance.
Experience in implementing and monitoring Safety management systems.
