An exciting opportunity exists to join the Corporate Services Division in the HR Reform Area for a fixed-term full-time position until 30 April 2025.
About the Division The purpose of the HR Reforms is to strengthen VCAA's legal and regulatory employment obligations and deliver significant and sustained improvements in service excellence for our direct-employed staff.
About the Role The Senior HR Advisor will support a suite of reforms to deliver significant improvements to the operational performance and strategic oversight of the VCAA direct-employed HR processes.
This position will take a lead role in change management, driving the transition and implementation of a new payroll and Human Capital Management System.
Responsibilities include data management, reporting and auditing, the development of communications, educational material, and HR policies and procedures.
The role will provide guidance and direction for others, including the delivery of information sessions and training, while proactively managing program risks.
Reporting to the Project Manager - HR Reform, Corporate Services, you will: Work closely with the VCAA HR Unit Manager and team members, focusing on day-to-day operational matters and being the recipient of the reforms that follow this work.
Collaborate with the Department of Education to ensure alignment of the reforms with relevant HR policy and guidelines.
Consult with key stakeholders, including hiring managers, the VCAA Executive Leadership Team, and the VCAA direct-employed workforce.
Ensure the HR reform connects with other broader initiatives with interdependence, such as the ongoing ICT Review.
