The Role: Take a leading role as the Senior HSE Advisor, reporting directly to the HSE Operations Manager, for our Regional & Remote commercial and residential maintenance projects nationally.
You will also support other tower work projects as required.
Day to day you will be based at our Tullamarine office where you will independently manage the contract, providing critical advice and guidance to our operational team and contractors.
Your leadership will drive the implementation and cultivation of a robust safety culture guided by our One HSE Culture Framework.
Due to the remoteness of works, this role will predominantly be performed by desktop with occasional travel of approximately 3-4 days per month.
Responsibilities Serve as the primary HSE contact for major clients, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met during audits.
Lead and mentor operational teams on best practices for risk mitigation, focusing on high-risk activities such as working at heights, electrical systems, and trenching.
Oversee the onboarding and safety management of contractors, including site inspections, tool checks, and coaching.
Develop, review, and update management plans, risk registers, and SWMS, with a strong focus on legal compliance and documentation upkeep.
Conduct end-of-month reporting and maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement.
About You You are a proactive and solutions-focused HSE professional with excellent stakeholder management skills.
