About Us:
People, Safety, Culture and Communications' core functions span workplace culture and people matters, including human resources policy and strategy, organisational culture and change, recruitment, performance and development, and occupational health and safety management.
About the Role:
Under the direction of the Senior Manager and a Principal Investigator, Employee Investigations (EI), this position is responsible for conducting complex end-to-end misconduct and reportable conduct investigations, and providing expert, strategic advice in relation to these investigations.
Some of your duties will include:
Conducting complex and sensitive end-to-end employee misconduct and reportable conduct investigations within tight timeframes.
Preparing departmental briefs for disciplinary outcomes involving termination of employment and reporting to the Commission for Children and Young People.
Providing authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a high level of technical knowledge and expertise.
About You:
As an ideal candidate, you will possess:
Experience in undertaking complex and sensitive investigations consistent with relevant legislative and industrial requirements.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a background in investigations. Studies in law or experience in Government Investigations or Industrial Relations would be an advantage.
An Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) will be required at the expense of the applicant once successfully in the role.
