About This Opportunity 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - Learning is undergoing big changes in Private Health Insurance at Australian Unity.
In 2024/25 we will launch our brand-new Learning Hub for all employees.
We require a seasoned Senior L&D Professional to help us make our big plans become reality.
To be successful you will be a triple threat: you can do robust task/gap analysis, you can build guides/e Learns, and you can project manage.
What's a Learning Hub? A learning hub is our one-stop-shop for everything our people need to grow in their role – whether it's 'what do I need right now?' or 'what do I need to move into my next role?'.
The successful candidate will help bring the learning hub to life from start to end.
To kick things off you will be involved in workshops and other data gathering activities where you will conduct thorough task analysis of multiple teams and roles, and to uncover knowledge and skill gaps.
Your findings will help form the basis of learner pathways, transferable skills and capabilities.
With our needs in hand, you will help create and curate materials to support our people in their learner journeys.
You will be resourceful curating materials and proficient building for different modalities.
You will manage your time well and proactive in everything you do.
You are comfortable cold calling someone to get what you need.
You are resilient.
You keep the end goal in mind and aren't afraid to challenge expectations.
About the role Understand and apply the Australian Unity Learning strategy and frameworks Design learner pathways for operational and elevated operational roles Develop competency matrices Redesign existing and/or develop new fit-for-purpose learning solutions according to pathways, subject to scope determined during analysis.
