Our opportunity The Senior Major Licence Officer is responsible for several integral functions, including the regulation of all Licensees within the gambling industry.
Key accountabilities: Prepare correspondence, including briefs and advice for management, on matters relating to licensee risk, compliance failures, and regulatory response options.
Assess submissions from major licensees regarding new initiatives and developments that may require regulatory assessment and response.
Develop, review, and maintain relevant policy, procedure, and framework documents, and develop industry guidance materials to support compliance as required.
Who we are looking for: To be successful in this position, you will have: Monitoring and evaluation or performance audit skills.
Ability to interpret and apply legislation, preferably in a regulatory environment.
Critical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to analyse complex matters.
