About the Role As Senior Manager of Communications, you will lead the transformation of our communications strategy during an exciting period of change.
This is a unique chance to shape how we engage internally and externally, driving alignment across teams, managing media relationships, and boosting employee engagement.
Your expertise in delivering clear, impactful messaging will strengthen our brand, foster collaboration, and position us as a leader in customer experience.
You'll develop and execute strategies that enhance our reputation, engage employees, and manage communications across our portfolio of brands.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies for internal and external audiences.
Oversee internal communications programs to ensure alignment with the company's purpose, values, and business objectives.
Lead external communications initiatives, including PR, media relations, and thought leadership campaigns.
Manage relationships with industry media, ensuring accurate and positive coverage of the company's initiatives.
Create and distribute press releases, executive speeches, newsletters, and other communications materials.
Guide and inspire a team of communications specialists, setting clear objectives and providing support to achieve individual and collective success.
Manage the selection, implementation, and continuous improvement of communications platforms to ensure they meet organisational needs and drive effective engagement.
Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, industry partners, and media, to ensure effective communication strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across marketing, growth, people experience, and various business units.
Serve as a communications advisor to senior leadership, providing counsel on media engagement and internal messaging.
Measure the effectiveness of communication programs through surveys, analytics, and feedback mechanisms, adjusting strategies accordingly.
About You You are an experienced communications leader with a talent for crafting impactful messaging across internal and external channels.
With proven expertise in media relations, public relations, and digital communication tools, you excel at managing complex projects and building strong stakeholder relationships.
Your strategic mindset allows you to develop long-term communication plans that align with business goals, while your crisis communication skills ensure brand integrity under pressure.
A strong leader and collaborator, you thrive in fast-paced environments, delivering clear, compelling messages that drive engagement and results.
Skills and Experience Required: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Extensive experience in a communications role, ideally in a B2 B technology or business process outsourcing company.
Experience managing both internal and external communications functions.
Proven track record of successful media engagement and public relations campaigns.
Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a small team of communications professionals, focusing on achieving high performance and fostering a collaborative team culture.
Proven track record in evaluating, selecting, implementing, and optimising communications platforms to enhance messaging effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Extensive experience in managing relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, industry partners, and media, ensuring strategic alignment and successful communication outcomes.
Familiarity with B2 B technology, outsourcing, or related industries.
Experience leading communication initiatives that drive engagement and business outcomes.
Experience using analytics tools to measure communication effectiveness.
