Your New Role Looks Like This: As the Senior Manager, Property Projects for Seniors Living you will support portfolio optimisation and value realisation.
Working closely with the General Manager, Corporate Development and the Head of Portfolio, Seniors Living, you will lead the delivery of identified property-related projects within the Australian Unity Groups' seniors living portfolio (retirement villages and residential aged care).
Key responsibilities include: Lead the preparation of feasibility modelling, market analysis, risk assessments and engagement of early-stage design and planning consultants to enable the necessary approvals (internal and external) to be obtained for identified development opportunities within the portfolio.
Manage initiation of master planning for identified assets within the portfolio.
Provide support for all activity required to divest identified non-core assets within the portfolio.
Support the assessment of other development or acquisition opportunities as they may arise from time to time.
Please note that this is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity.
About You: 5+ years' experience in the property sector, with a preferred bias towards property development management.
Experience in the seniors living sector would be well regarded.
Well-developed project management capabilities, with demonstrated experience in project feasibility study development, project planning and documentation and understanding of property development and the building industry.
Strong financial (i.e.
numeracy) and commercial acumen, with highly developed analytical and financial analysis skills.
Detailed understanding and experience with planning application and approval processes.
Detailed working knowledge of relevant building codes and standards as applied to development projects.
Excellent communication skills with the proven ability in developing and strengthening relationships.
