What You Will Be Doing The Access, Assessment, Brief Intervention & Consultation Team, during business hours, Monday to Friday provides a welcoming initial point of contact for consumers, family members and service providers seeking services for infants, children and young people aged 0-25 years.
These service functions include: Telephone triage of new referrals including initial screening, information gathering, initial mental health and risk assessment, service navigation and referral.
Comprehensive, holistic mental health and wellbeing assessments across a range of mediums including via clinic appointments, telehealth and/or outreach into the community.
Brief community treatment, utilising single session models, including family interventions (up to 3 months).
Community consultation, service navigation and mental health promotion to a range of service providers either via individual or group sessions.
Senior Clinicians within the ABC, working either part time or full time, will support the Manager and the Clinical Head of the ICY to provide clinical leadership and supervision to the team and the service more broadly.
What You Need We anticipate you will have: AHPRA registration or AASW registration.
Experience in working in youth mental health &/or in a community mental health setting (CAMHS or Adult Services).
Current Victorian Driver's License.
Working with Children Check.
Experience of using outcome measures to inform practice.
