The Senior Payroll Officer will play a key role within the Group Finance function, supporting the Payroll Manager in overseeing the end-to-end payroll process for the MACS Office.
This role fosters collaboration with the People & Culture division and ensures accurate payroll administration, processing, reporting, and maintenance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO Manage end-to-end payroll for MACS Office, ensuring compliance with business policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
Accurately process payroll transactions such as pay increments, back pays, terminations, salary packaging, and leave purchases.
Interpret Awards, Agreements, and contracts regarding staff entitlements.
Assist in month-end tasks, including salary and leave accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Provide high-level customer service, promptly addressing internal and external payroll inquiries.
ABOUT YOU Strong experience in end-to-end payroll management with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail in calculating entitlements.
Proven ability to interpret Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and relevant legislation.
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining privacy, confidentiality, and providing exceptional customer service.
Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
