With the team expanding, there is now an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer to join the business, based in Birmingham.
The Role As the successful Engineer, you will be working on a varied portfolio of frameworks and projects which are predominantly UK-based but with some overseas opportunities.
You will take the lead and deliver on small projects up to the value of a few million and provide technical support to end users, Landlords, management agents, project managers and the like.
Projects span across all sectors including Commercial Offices, Retail, Residential, Education, Healthcare, Mo J, Defence, Heritage, Industrial and Technology.
Your role as a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer will also include work winning and delivery, from both existing and new clients and assisting the regional lead in planning the specialist delivery of the Property Services Group.
A particular focus on work delivery, organisational support and team growth is required to support local and regional clients.
Qualifications & Experience As the successful Engineer, you will need to be a qualified design engineer (chartered status or working towards) with mechanical design experience.
You will have experience working on projects in existing buildings (refurbishment and fit-out) and experience undertaking Technical Due Diligence surveying and reporting.
You will be able to write technical reports i.e: feasibility, issue investigation, condition surveys etc.
and have experience getting involved in performance specification work, contract administration and site duties.
In addition to this, you will have a: Willingness and ability to undertake own design, specification and site monitoring Strong technical knowledge in primary engineering discipline and relevant UK and applicable EU regulations, design guides Excellent written and spoken English skills Excellent organisational and planning skills to effectively work to timescales and deadlines Why Work For This Company?
