Senior Product Designer

What you'll deliver with us:
As our
Senior Product Designer , you will support the Lead Product Designer and Design Director by working in a team of product designers within our Centre of Excellence for Research & Design, transforming complex tasks into elegant, accessible interfaces. You will work closely with Project and Program teams and report directly to the Lead Product Designer.
You'll also:
ADVOCATE
Advocate for customer centricity and uphold the customer experience as a key deliverable in all work.
COLLABORATE
Collaborate with project, platform, and program teams to deliver great digital experiences.
Work with research teams to conduct customer interviews, usability testing, and qualitative or quantitative research.
CREATE
Lead the creation of design deliverables including customer journeys, user flows, design mockups, and prototypes.
Support discovery and research reports, presentations, and playbacks.
Engage in weekly design critiques, seeking and providing constructive feedback.
CONTRIBUTE
Play a key role with the Research and Design practice.
Contribute to our Postmaster Design System.
Engage in tribe culture by leading discussions and meetings.
You'll need:
DESIGN EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role with a focus in user experience, product or interaction design.
Experience creating digital products, large-scale websites, or applications.
Advanced analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with UX and interface design processes and methodologies.
ENTERPRISE ACUMEN
Demonstrable commercial acumen in a large enterprise.
Ability to manage ambiguity and work autonomously.
MENTORING & CRAFT LEADERSHIP
Experience in mentoring others and advocating for design craft within an organization.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Highly developed communication skills both written and oral.
Knowledge of front-end and/or native mobile technologies.
Excellent working knowledge of accessibility & WCAG standards.
Our hybrid working arrangement requires a minimum of 3 days per week in person at our Richmond VIC campus or Strawberry Hills NSW location.
