Puma Energy (Australia) Bitumen has a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person at the Global Bitumen Technology Centre in Altona, Melbourne.
The role will focus on engaging a variety of stakeholders to promote the implementation of our ever more sustainable and durable bituminous binders.
This would be a great opportunity for someone with a solid background in pavement engineering who wants to specialise in the road binder technology that will help transition the industry to a net-zero carbon emissions future.
We are seeking an individual interested in building a reputation as an industry expert, being the point of contact for technical queries, and supporting marketing and commercial initiatives.
About this position: Key responsibilities include: Driving the implementation and acceptance of Puma next generation sustainable bitumen technology in Australia Liaising with key customers to enhance Puma Bitumen Product offering to support and further develop key commercial relationships. Leveraging technical expertise to enhance Puma Bitumen product offering to deliver commercial success to the business Assessing the performance of bituminous products with customers in the field and identifying product improvements Attendance / representation and presentation at industry meetings Develop technical product information and datasheets Provide technical support to the sales team and develop marketing campaigns Building/maintaining reputation as a leading bitumen technology expert Our ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, who is self-motivated and eager to become a specialist in sustainable binder technology and fulfil the following requirements: Requirements Tertiary qualifications in science or engineering essential Applicants must be Australian Citizens / Permanent Resident of Australia Minimum 5yrs experience in bitumen/asphalt industry Able to communicate effectively, the successful candidate will have excellent written communication skills Highly regarded Chartered Professional Engineer / Scientist status highly regarded Road construction industry related experience Focus on Customer Service and delivery If you meet some of the role requirements but not all, we still encourage you to submit your application.
