As our Senior Product Owner - Platform , you will play a vital role in translating our future Platform Engineering vision and IT strategy into actionable roadmaps and backlogs.
Your work will ensure the delivery of valuable changes with top-notch quality.
You'll be at the core of our planning process, gathering input from various sources to establish and prioritize the team's tasks.
Every day, you'll collaborate closely with our Head of Platform Engineering and interact with different stakeholders to refine the scope of changes.
You'll continuously update the team's backlog of Jira stories and tasks, plan and facilitate releases, and ensure the smooth coordination of business changes.
Following our IT governance process, you'll maintain transparency and alignment.
Sharing and celebrating successful deliveries with stakeholders and the wider business will be an enjoyable aspect of your role.
Your expert guidance will provide the team with clarity and focus, helping to define efficient ways of working.
You'll foster a culture of continuous improvement, promote healthy collaboration, and ensure a psychologically safe environment.
In addition, you'll assist the Engineering Team Leads with routine domain-related responsibilities, such as password rotations, cloud account creation, and domain renewals.
You'll also engage in bottom-up reporting to support Operational Run, Delivery Governance, and Compliance.
As our Senior Product Owner - Platform, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to Collaborating closely with the Head of Platform Engineering, Team Leads, and other Product Owners to co-create delivery roadmaps and contribute to strategy planning.
Shaping outlining, and strategizing key initiatives for the Platform Engineering teams.
Facilitating the Agile delivery processes, customizing them to meet the unique requirements of each team.
Coordinating and guiding the delivery of projects with significant inter-department dependencies and stakeholders, proactively identifying and managing any dependencies, blocks, and risks that arise.
Showcasing the value created by the team, demonstrating their contributions in terms of commercial value, risk reduction, and quality.
Handling routine tasks specific to the Platform Engineering domain, such as password rotations, cloud account creation, and domain renewals.
Providing detailed bottom-up reports to support Operational, Delivery Governance, Security, and Compliance initiatives.
About you Proven track record in similar roles such as Product Manager, Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst, Delivery Lead, or Iteration Manager Experience collaborating closely with engineers in a software development environment, or previous hands-on software development experience Familiarity with Cloud infrastructure platforms (preferably Amazon Web Services), Infrastructure as Code, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Strong ability to adapt and thrive in an agile environment, with the flexibility to customize frameworks and methodologies to meet team needs Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at effectively engaging both technical and business stakeholders Aptitude for problem-solving and a knack for adapting to dynamic environments Experience using A/B testing tools in order to optimize performance and drive conversion rates.
Ability to work with event tracking systems and/or a Customer Data Platform (CDP) to gain insights into user behavior and improve overall user experience.
