This role is based in Specialist Intelligence Services Division which strives to enhance the ability for Victoria Police to be intelligence-led.
The Transforming T&C Project is delivering a standardised organisational process for prioritising problems, planning effective responses, allocating tasks and coordinating Victoria Police's considerable resources to improve community safety.
As a Senior Project Officer, you will have direct responsibility for delivering key outcomes of the project across implementation, capability uplift and defining a digital solution for T&C.

Your duties will include: Provide project management support to the Project Manager including project governance and reporting.
Own specific project deliverables, planning and coordinating to ensure their timely delivery.
Collaborate with a wide range of project stakeholders from across the organisation.
Contribute to project outcomes by undertaking research and analysis to provide advice on project delivery.
About You: The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience: Sound knowledge of the policing environment, and ability to apply to this knowledge to practices and processes which support policing.
Effective project management skills, including a proven track record in successfully delivering complex and strategic projects.
Excellent written communication skills and an ability to develop briefings and reports to a high standard.
Demonstrated ability to effectively and actively engage internal and external stakeholders.
Further Information: This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 313 Spencer Street, Docklands.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head.
