About the role: The Senior Proposition, Performance & Planning Analyst is part of the Customer Value Optimisation (CVO) value stream, focused on enhancing retention, reducing churn, and increasing the value of AGL's residential and SME customer base through cross-selling and upselling. The team uses data-driven insights from customer segmentation to develop strategies, products, campaigns, and communications aimed at maximizing customer lifetime value and supporting profitability. Additionally, they ensure compliance with regulatory communications.The Senior Proposition, Performance and Planning Analyst will be responsible for driving strategic planning, reporting, and analytics within the CVO value stream. They generate insights to inform decisions and engage stakeholders across Customer Markets and the broader business, requiring strong commercial acumen to turn insights into actionable business recommendations. What you'll be doing: Shape new propositions and offers that drive the CVO strategy and customer value. Play a key role in optimizing team performance by contributing to business planning, forecasting, and workforce alignment. Evaluate strategic initiatives by tracking key performance indicators and delivering insights to influence decision-making. Enhance dashboards for real-time performance visibility, enabling data-driven decisions and operational efficiency. Identify emerging trends and opportunities through in-depth market research. Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure alignment and drive strategic initiatives across the business. About you: Previous experience in strategy and planning, preferably in the energy or regulated industry. Proven experience in strategic planning, data analysis and market research. Strong financial modelling skills with proficiency in relevant software. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
