Working closely with the University of Melbourne, postgraduate students (provisional psychologists) see patients under the supervision of senior clinicians and registered psychologists. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Psychologist (Clinical, Neuropsychology, or Education & Development) with a relevant area of practice endorsement to join our team in a newly created part-time (0.6 FTE) position. This role offers flexible start and finish times, allowing you to balance your work and personal commitments. As a key member of our clinic, you will provide outstanding educational and developmental psychology services to our clients, focusing on neurodevelopmental disorders in children and adults. Your responsibilities will include clinical supervision of Psychology Registrars, client management, and working closely with the Clinic Director to support service initiatives and ensure clinical excellence. This position requires advanced skills and knowledge in educational and developmental psychology, as well as the ability to provide clinical oversight to other psychologists. About You The Selection Criteria is designed to assess the candidate's suitability for the position. A Master's degree in Psychology, approved to 6th year enabling practice in Australia, with current AHPRA registration (general) and endorsement in Education & Developmental Psychology, Neuropsychology, or Clinical Psychology. Board Approved Supervisor status with Psy BA, with two (2) years minimum experience in an area of practice endorsement. Demonstrated experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and delivery of interventions for ASD, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Significant experience in assessment, diagnosis, and delivery of interventions for learning disorders in children and adults. Strong patient management and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse group of clients, stakeholders, and manage complex caseloads. Exceptional communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively and empathically, and the capacity to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Strong organisational and time management skills with an ability to work independently and demonstrated capacity for using initiative and problem-solving. Flexibility and openness to new ideas and change with an ability to be innovative and provide creative solutions. Experience working in schools and in clinic-based settings. Experience using Patient Management Systems, such as Titanium. Experience working with adults and children. Interest in ongoing professional development relevant to the growth of clinical service offerings and/or business development. Experience in the administration of several ASD and ADHD assessment tools with children and adults. Demonstrated experience in a senior position, with the ability to mentor and motivate staff.
