The Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Risk, this role is responsible for supporting the design and implementation of the enterprise risk management framework and procedures across the business.
The Senior Risk Advisor will also undertake risk monitoring, implementation of the oversight program and communicate risk areas of improvement opportunities to management & assist in the preparation of Hub, Executive and Board Risk Committee Papers.
Furthermore, the role will support the Head of Risk with oversight and implementation of the Business Continuity cycle and Business Resilience program.
About You We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience in a risk or compliance role, with demonstrated knowledge of the regulatory environment in which Medibank operates.
You have in-depth knowledge and practical experience of operational risk frameworks, methodologies, management and control techniques.
You will also have in-depth technical knowledge and understanding of the Financial Services and/or Private Health sector regulatory framework including APRA, and requirements in relation to Risk Management.
You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate change within a complex environment.
You enjoy applying your problem-solving and analytical skills to identify trends and interpret information.
You have a one team mindset, enjoying working collaboratively and proactively contributing ideas to continuously improve performance.
A relevant qualification/accreditation in Risk legal, compliance, technology management and/or finance will be viewed favourably.
