About the Division The Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) guides the Departments' digital capability and is leading digital transformation for the Department including Victorian government schools.
The Division architects, manages and supports the largest technology network in Victoria, supporting a user base of approximately 750,000 staff and students.
IMTD provides innovation and leadership in the transformation and management of the Department's digital capability through the implementation of solutions on the department's cloud environment (Iaa S), enterprise cloud platforms (Paa S) and software (Saa S), using agile practices with a focus on user experience, security, and integration.

This role is in the Digital Design and Innovation Branch.
About the Role This role is to develop, configure and customise Service Now solutions to fit business requirements.
Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, reviewing the code produced by less experienced developers, participating in requirements gathering workshops, estimation, addressing the agile product backlog through development sprints, and delivering and maintaining technical documentation.
In this role, you will also contribute to support applications built on the Service Now platform.
Key responsibilities include: Designing and developing Service Now solutions from inception to ready for business use in production.
Upholding architecture, design and implementation principles including configuration management and coding practices.
Collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, developers and functional analysts on functional and technical requirements.
Providing estimates for the scope of work, discussing options and recommending solutions.
Reviewing code and run initiatives to improve the overall health of the platform.
Reviewing Service Now family releases and identify new features that can be enabled for the business.

Essential: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
Essential: Service Now Platform Administrator Certification.
Desirable: 3+ years' experience as a Service Now developer.
