As the Senior Sourcing Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the strategic management plan for the fresh produce category within Marley Spoon.
Working closely with various stakeholders across the business, you will be leading sourcing initiatives from our Melbourne Fulfilment Centre located in Altona North (VIC 3025).
Your role: Develop and execute a 1-3 year category plan for fresh produce sourcing, aligned with our overall strategy.
Lead supplier negotiations, manage vendor performance, and foster long-term relationships.
Analyse market trends to drive cost reduction and mitigate risks.
Scout, onboard, and manage suppliers to support growth and innovation.
Manage competitive tendering process and commercial opportunities.
Control expenditure portfolio and optimise procurement costs.
Requirements This is you: Tertiary qualified in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and/or Business Administration.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Procurement Manager, Sourcing Specialist, or Head of Procurement with expertise in the fresh produce category.
Strong understanding of market dynamics and a proactive approach to category management.
Experience with supplier management software (e.g., ERP, Foods Connected) and commercial negotiations.
Professional accreditation or certification (i.e., CIPS) is preferred.
