JOB DESCRIPTION THE ROLE As the Senior Technical Officer , you will collaborate with our field crews to proactively manage maintenance activities across critical gas assets.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective and safe completion of all work orders in compliance with our client's policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
You will be stationed at our Shepparton depot and report directly to the Superintendent.
Some Of The Key Responsibilities Include: Conducting audits of various parties to ensure compliance with required standards and procedures and maintaining high levels of quality and safety.
Providing a reliable emergency response service during normal and after-hours, promptly addressing any issues that arise.
Engaging in planning, estimating, scheduling, and issuing construction and maintenance work to field and subcontractors to ensure efficient operations.
Proactively and visibly promote and drive a Zero Harm culture, guiding and coaching others.
Develop and maintain strong, cooperative and positive working relationships with the client, and key stakeholders up and downstream.
ABOUT YOU Ideally, you should have a trade qualification or similar, a current driver's licence and a proven track record in the gas industry.
Practical knowledge of estimating, installation, maintenance, and standard operating procedures in gas distribution networks is an advantage.
