What You Will Be Doing The Senior Consumer Consultant is a designated Lived Experience Position within the new and expanding Infant, Child and Youth Program Stream.
This role will lead ongoing implementation of co-design activities and identify future opportunities for young people, families, carers and supporters to inform all aspects of service delivery and improvement.
Classification: Lived Experience Worker Level 3 Year 4 (MP39)* What You Need We anticipate you will have: Aged 18-30 at time of application Must have, be willing to declare and work from a lived experience as a Consumer of Mental Health/AOD/Dual Diagnosis services Previous experience in a Lived Experience role - Peer Worker/Senior Peer Worker, Advisor, Consultant, OR previous experience in advocacy, representation or systems change role Demonstrated knowledge of Mental Health/AOD consumer/carer movements and evolving positions on design and delivery of treatment, care, support services Understanding of the diversity of cultural, linguistic and gender backgrounds of our community and the impact this has on consumers and families, carers and supporters' experience of mental illness What Next Apply NOW! Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
