Healius Pathology operates over 100 medical laboratories and over 2,200 patient collection centres across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia.
Healius Pathology employs around 280 specialist pathologists and 7,800 scientists, technicians, collectors and team members.
The Role Reporting to the Head of Commercial - Hospital and Specialists, the Specialist Business Development Manager will play a key role in promoting one of Australia's leading pathology providers.
Working closely with specialists within your allocated territory, you will develop strong relationships, respond to customer queries, help develop, and execute territory business plans to achieve commercial revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities Drive specialist strategy in local Business Unit Develop and implement business plans for key specialist groups that promote the use of Healius Pathology to achieve targets within your allocated area Relationship building with existing and new clients to ensure support, effective issue resolution and successful marketing activities Active participation in revenue focused campaigns, to generate and maintain set revenue targets Maintain in depth knowledge of promotional materials, services aligning with clients need.
Gather intelligence of target market, provide insights on market changes Regularly review and report territory performance and market trends to help identify opportunities that directly shape future business plans and activities within the specialist market.
Build and maintain stakeholder networks/relationships both internally and externally to drive future business growth Work collaboratively with local team to achieve shared goals by sharing knowledge, experience, and insights Attending national and state-based conferences when required Minimum Qualifications Tertiary or equivalent qualifications in Science, Healthcare or Business with specialist sales experience 2+ years working in a similar field Ability to develop deep insights, uncover market gaps, drive innovation, collaborate and lead Strong analytical, creative problem-solving skills to manage revenue and budget initiatives Strong negotiation and strategic skills Creating and seizing opportunities to expand into new markets Benefits and Wellbeing As part of working for Healius Ltd., you will have access to a range of benefits including: A marketplace of exclusive discounts and vouchers from leading Australian and online retailers Corporate health insurance discounts, banking benefits and novated leasing consultations.
