Your New Role We have an opportunity for an individual to join our Prevention Policy & Research team as Strategic Policy & Research Officer on a full-time ongoing basis.
Reporting to the Manager, Prevention Policy & Research, the role will research and develop strategic policy and reports in response to contemporary and emerging corruption and police misconduct issues and risks.
Duties Include: Analyse, research and develop authoritative briefings, correspondence, public reports and recommendations on complex policy and research issues to strengthen corruption prevention in the Victorian public sector.
Prepare high-quality reports (including public reports) and deliver high-quality written and verbal briefings to operational, strategic and executive decision-makers.
Contribute to projects on policy and research issues and ensure project objectives are met in a timely manner.
Contribute to the Policy, Research and Reviews unit's business planning and policy development to support evolving organisational priorities.
We Are Looking For Candidates With The Following Experience and Capabilities: Strong research, conceptual and analytical skills demonstrated in the development, analysis and resolution of complex policy issues.
Demonstrated high-level written and verbal skills in policy and report writing, analysis and briefing.
Experience in public sector operating environments and a relevant tertiary qualification are desirable.
