Supervisor / Foreman | Tier 1

Our client is one of Australia's leading construction companies with a diverse portfolio of commercial, education, health & government projects up to $300 M.
They have over $1 billion in projects locked in over the coming years.
In a time when job security is of utmost importance, this business is thriving.
They have a number of $200m+ projects coming up in South East locations and require Supervisors with head contract experience to assist in getting these projects off the ground.
The successful candidate will be working with some of the most experienced professionals in the Tier 1 space.
Roles & Responsibilities: Conducting site inductions for staff and sub-contractors.
Managing the subcontractors to ensure they are fulfilling their roles and responsibilities.
Monitoring subcontractor performance daily in regards to safety, quality, and programme, and reporting deficiencies to the Site Manager.
Assisting the Site Manager in the commissioning and handover of the project by ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and provided to the Project Manager.
Managing cost control for certain aspects of the project, as directed by the Site Manager, to ensure the project meets its required performance targets in relation to budget.
Desired Experience: Trade background.
Previous experience working for a head contractor is essential on commercial builds larger than $50m.
Experience working on commercial projects is highly desirable.
Proven experience as a Structures or Civil Foreman working on commercial projects from start to finish.
Proven experience of effectively managing a team including sub-contractors in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationships.
Good understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements, with proven experience of effectively controlling site safety.
