About the Employer: Operating for almost 40 years, this CPA practice and business advisory specialist is located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Renowned for providing superior quality and comprehensive services to its clients, specializing in asset protection, tax planning, cloud accounting solutions, self-managed superannuation funds, and structuring and developing business strategies for small to medium enterprises.
About the Position: Preparation of Income Tax Returns for companies, partnerships and trusts, predominantly SMEs Preparation of Financial Statements Liaise and review compliance requirements with clients Assist with tax and accounting advice Assist with the preparation of tax planning, business structures etc Preparation of management reports and forecasting cashflow reporting The Ideal Candidate: 1 - 3 years of current Public Practice experience in Australia Bachelor of Accounting (or similar) from an Australian university Commenced or be eligible and willing to commence either CA or CPA Experienced in using Access Handisoft (preferable, but not mandatory) Have the passion and willingness to develop your accounting and tax skills further Possess excellent presentation and communication skills Have a positive and professional attitude Be a strong team player but also confident and comfortable working independently Be a lateral thinker and client-focused Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship What's on Offer: $65,000 - $75,000 plus superannuation Regular professional development opportunities Full training provided Career progression opportunities Onsite parking Flexibility with working hours This role is based full-time in the office Shortlisting will begin once applications are received.
