Operating from a state-of-the-art office in the CBD, the business services team is currently seeking a passionate Assistant Manager or Manager who has completed their CA/CPA to join this successful and vibrant team.
About The Role Performing tax planning for clients and providing valuable advice to clients including HNWI, Family Groups, Trust, Partnerships, SME, Multi-national Companies and SGE up to $1 billion in turnover.
With the support from a team of accountants and seniors, you will work closely with a very switched-on partner and a senior manager in looking after $1.5 million in fees.
Supervising junior staff on relevant works and providing tax planning and tax advisory works to clients.
Exposure to all areas of tax matters including corporate tax, structuring, transactions, DTA, DTL, Tax consolidation, FBT, CGT, Div7a, and asset protection.
Engages confidently with various organisational levels, tailoring communication to influence and meet the diverse needs of target audiences.
Facilitates team development and addresses inappropriate behaviours by actively seeking feedback to improve performance and enforce conduct standards.
Delivers timely and valuable services to clients, nurturing relationships to become a trusted advisor and proactively fulfilling their needs to enhance value.
Analyses and evaluates client problems from multiple perspectives, offering logical and feasible solutions while thoroughly assessing client requests.
Implements risk management strategies promptly, encourages an open culture for raising issues, and ensures the swift resolution of concerns.
Drives projects to completion within budget and timelines, maintaining a focus on results by adapting strategies to meet unique client requirements and managing shifting priorities.
Expands professional networks through active participation in industry events, identifies new client opportunities, and supports Partners in various advisory capacities.
Manages and oversees a designated client portfolio, ensuring accuracy in financial documentation and compliance for diverse entities while mentoring and delegating team responsibilities.
About You Assistant Manager 5+ years of experience in business services, led a team, provided advisory works.
Manager 6-7 years of experience in business services, led a team, managed client portfolio, reviewed team members' works, provided advisory works.
Completed CA/CPA qualification.
A strong commitment to client focus and delivering high-quality service.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to establish professional relationships with both internal staff and external clients.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective multitasking skills to manage individual and team workflow efficiently.
Team players who are committed to supporting their colleagues.
PR and Citizen preferred.
