Team Lead - Sports Risk (3 Month Secondment)

This position is a 3 month secondment as Team Lead – Sports Risk.
This role will largely be accountable for overseeing day-to-day operational function and performance of the Sports Risk team. Your key accountabilities will sit within delivering best in category risk management and user experience for our customers.
You will work closely with the Sports Risk Analysts to mitigate risks to acceptable levels within the trading environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the daily operations of Operational Risk, ensuring that the operational team consistently meets Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), effectively manages and communicates liabilities, handles pricing and settlement errors, as well as managing risks related to price assurance.
Developing and implementing best practices for both Operational and Strategic Risk initiatives.
Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure close collaboration of trading and risk operations.
Ownership of ensuring current data driven risk tools are suitable.
Proactively reviewing and optimising Risk tasks, techniques, and strategies.
Input into the development of Risk Ecosystem tooling.
Providing strong, Risk-focused recommendations to stakeholders across RVT and beyond.
Direct responsibility for coaching & development of direct reports.
Review and in-depth analysis of both customer and market offerings as required.
