About the Business Unit Corrections Victoria manages approximately 40 Community Correctional Services (CCS) locations and is responsible for managing Victoria's eleven public prisons.
Electronic Monitoring Services (EMS) is a business unit within the Security and Intelligence Division, operating 24/7.
About the Role The Team Leader, Electronic Monitoring will manage the Electronic Monitoring Compliance Officers and provide on-shift support to the EMS management team.
Responsibilities include developing and delivering electronic monitoring training, overseeing sensitive reports, supporting projects, and ensuring operations are executed according to established procedures.
This role includes servicing the metropolitan based trial of the Youth Justice Enhanced Bail Supervision and Support program.
Some of your duties will include: Manage Electronic Monitoring Compliance Officers and coordinate on-shift operations.
Provide leadership and support to on-shift staff.
Maintain accurate electronic monitoring records and complete system audits.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Practical knowledge of a corrections environment (desirable).
Understanding of current issues in managing offenders subject to electronic monitoring (desirable).
Experience working within a legislative framework.
