About The Role
As the Team Leader Development Compliance, you will be responsible for providing leadership and operational management to a dedicated team of Building & Planning Compliance Officers, including specialist Audit Officers and occasional contract staff. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of exceptional, customer-focused Building & Planning Compliance services to the community.
You will provide strategic advice to senior management and team members on matters related to development, environmental, and building compliance, all while ensuring that resources are allocated effectively. Your leadership will be key in supervising compliance staff, offering guidance, assistance, and support in carrying out their tasks, all within the scope of the relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of compliance officers to deliver high-quality services to the community.
Offer high-level strategic advice on planning and building compliance matters.
Oversee the allocation of resources to manage Council's programs efficiently.
Ensure the team works within documented service levels.
Support staff in their professional development and daily tasks.
