Title: Project Manager (Telecom domain) Location: Sydney, Melbourne Responsibilities Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for telecom projects.
Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Coordinate resources, including internal teams, external vendors, and contractors.
Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure projects are executed in compliance with telecom industry standards and regulations.
Serve as the main point of contact for telecom project communications.
Collaborate closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to gather requirements and align expectations.
Provide regular project updates and ensure stakeholders are informed about project status and milestones.
Identify potential risks and challenges specific to telecom projects.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize project disruptions.
Proactively address issues as they arise and keep stakeholders informed of risk management efforts.
Ensure telecom solutions meet established quality standards and technical specifications.
Implement rigorous testing and validation procedures to guarantee functionality and reliability.
Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any issues or concerns that arise.
Possess a strong understanding of telecom technologies, networks, and infrastructure.
Collaborate with technical teams to define project requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and technical specifications.
Generate regular project progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Evaluate project outcomes and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance future project delivery.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
8+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in the telecom industry.
Proven track record of successfully delivering telecom projects on time and within budget.
In-depth knowledge of telecom technologies, including wireless, fiber optics, and network infrastructure.
Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Strong project management skills and proficiency in project management tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus.
