As a Territory Manager for our client, you will be responsible for managing designated accounts within Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania.
Your primary focus will be on driving sales of innovative breastfeeding products and solutions within the hospital sector, as well as engaging with lactation consultants and health services.
This full-time role is essential for achieving and exceeding sales targets while enhancing customer relationships through clinical education.
What You'll Be Doing Develop, implement, and execute effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets for the portfolio.
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, including hospitals, lactation consultants, and local health services.
Conduct product demonstrations and provide comprehensive training on research-based breastfeeding solutions to hospital and retail staff.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while effectively managing existing accounts.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement product strategies and provide valuable market insights.
Gather market intelligence and competitor insights to inform sales initiatives and capitalize on opportunities.
Maintain accurate reporting on sales activities, forecasts, and results using CRM systems.
Attend trade shows, customer events, and sales meetings to promote products and share insights.
What We're Looking For Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on hospital sales.
Background in midwifery or as a lactation consultant is highly desirable.
Proven track record in territory management and achieving sales targets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with healthcare professionals.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically while managing multiple priorities.
Familiarity with the Australian hospital and healthcare market.
Relevant tertiary qualification in clinical or business-related fields.
